MIMS Schools, Lagos, recently celebrated some of her outstanding students — Kaffo Zulaykha, Isu Muhammad and Salaudeen Uthman — who have been conquering the spiritual world since their time in MIMS Nursery and Primary School.
According to Prince Adesegun Ogungbayi, the Board Chairman of MIMS, the excellence of these young students at MIMS Comprehensive College has been “very obvious”.
Ogungbayi said in a statement shared with TOP MEDIA:
“They won a series of spiritual, moral, and academic awards between their primary school and our college.
“At Primary School, Zulaikha Ayodeji Kaffo was a Head Girl and the most outstanding student and during her days in the college she was the Senior Girl, Amira of MSSN of the college and the most outstanding College student with the all-time best WAEC results to date and also award winning student.
“She led her colleagues to win funds for my school apart from other awards before securing admission to study Radiography at the prestigious University of Lagos. She is a first-class student morally, spiritually, and academically.
“Isu Muhammad was also a Head Boy of my primary school and the most outstanding primary pupil during his day with awards from local to the national level.
“He repeated the same winning habits at the college, leading to the winning of a series of moral, spiritual, and academic awards from JSS to the end of SS3. I think by now you should know the worth of the two graduating students we are here to celebrate their graduation from Idaadi to Thannawiy.
“I also have Uthman Saludeen, the captain of the present SS3 students of MIMS Comprehensive College graduating from ibtidayi to Idaadi. So, I see myself and my team from MIMS Educational Services as the most honoured on this great occasion. I can’t see any other school here celebrating their former students.”
TOP MEDIA reports that the occasion was the graduation ceremony of The Exquisite Madrasah for Islamic Teachings held at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Sports Centre.
Miss Kaffo emerged as the second-best graduating student of Idaadi out of 29 outstanding graduating students.
The day was graced by dignitaries across the nation and thousands of guests.
Those in attendance with Prince Ogungbayi were Lukman Taiwo, Director of Academics; Tijani Saheed, Head of Admin and Finance; the immediate past Director of Admin and Finance, Mr. Ismail Afenifere; the Principal of the College, Mrs. Isu Fatimah; Mr. Isu; Mr. Hamed Salaudeen, the immediate past Principal of the College.
