A pro-Biafra group, Biafra Nations League (BnL), has frowned at oil firms and foreign traders drilling oil in Bakassi Peninsula.
TOP MEDIA reports that the group gave foreign bodies two weeks to comply with their terms and conditions.
BNL’s operational coordinator, Henry Edet, issued the warning after a meeting in Idabato subdivision of Bakassi Peninsula on Sunday, October 1.
He threatened that the Idabato high sea would be blocked completely.
Meanwhile, Edet declined to speak on the recent bombings and clashes between the militant groups, Black Marine, Dragon Marine, and joint border forces in the Gulf of Guinea.
According to Edet, “Bakassi is our national headquarters.”
