Tope AbdurRazaq Balogun, the gubernatorial candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Lagos State in respect of the forthcoming 2023 election, on Tuesday, asked Lagosians to expect true dividends of democracy if he is voted as the next governor of the state.
TOP MEDIA reports that Balogun made this vow while speaking at the Guild of Muslim Professionals (GMP’s) annual conference which was held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel.
At the interactive session, the AA governorship candidate presented his party’s Lagos REBIRTH agenda.
The REBIRTH stands for Rural Development, Education and Energy, Broad-base and Inclusive Governance, Infrastructure, Restoring Security of Lives and Property, Technology and Transportation, and Healthcare/Housing.
He also unveiled governance models he described as “innovative” which he said will bring the best of dividends of democracy to the populace.
Realities of politics, governance and leadership selection processes were also dissected, as well as the opportunities domiciled in them.
The GMP is a platform for Muslim Professionals in the area of networking, mentoring, building entrepreneurship skills and capacities, among others.
