Eko Club Squash Section in Surulere, Lagos, hosted a two-day Squash Clinic by an international coach visiting from Canada, Shakiru Matti.
TOP MEDIA reports that the clinic which provided an excellent opportunity for junior and senior players to learn new skills and techniques while improving their overall squash game featured some of Nigeria’s top players like Kehinde Samuel and Adegoke Onaopemipo.
Apart from Coach Matti who is the Head Pro at Shakiru Matti Squash Academy, Richmond, Canada, Coach Seun Peters and Coach Idowu Enimakure also shared some knowledge with the young athletes.
TOP MEDIA understands that the clinic was supported by iconic Nigerian actor, Ramsey Noah, who is a squash admirer.
Other individuals who supported the event are Prince Sola Adekunle, Chairman, Yellow Dot; and Yusuf Durosinlorun, the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Squash Federation (NSF).
The clinic which started on Monday ended on Wednesday amid praise from the Squash Federation of Africa (SFA).
