Rapper and songwriter, Will Smith has hinted he may be performing with Nicky Jam, Diplo and Era Istrefi at this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The artiste posted a picture of himself on Instagram alongside Jam, with the caption: “One Life to Live. Live it Up. #2018FIFAWorldCup.”

He also tagged American DJ Diplo and Kosovan singer and songwriter Era Istrefi in the post.

Diplo is expected to produce the collaboration which should be released on Friday.

Smith, 49, has not released an album since 2005’s ‘Lost and Found’.

Producer DJ Nelson also confirmed to music website Vibe the four would be performing the song for this summer’s tournament in Russia.

“Nicky Jam and Will Smith are producing the new copa de futbol, they’re doing it together,” he says.
“They’re making this big song and it’s just so crazy.”

The FIFA World Cup usually has several songs associated with it but the official anthem is usually the most high-profile and is performed at the finale.

Past anthems include Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’ and Ricky Martin’s “La Copa de la Vida (The Cup of Life)”.

In 2014, Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez united to headline the official song for the World Cup in Brazil.

Russia 2018 will kick off on the 14th of June and end 15th of July.
