An X user identified as Nduji Ugochukwu Vitus has called out Access Bank for failing to credit his Sterling Bank account after he completed a transaction.
On his page, Vitus explained that he transferred N50,000 from his Access Bank account to his Sterling Bank account.
However, while Access Bank debited his account, the funds were not credited to his Sterling Bank account.
Frustrated with the situation, he demanded that his money be reversed, expressing his dissatisfaction with what he described as the bank’s incompetence.
“Hello @myaccessbank, I sent 50,000 naira to my @sterlinghelpbank account yesterday and got debited, yet to be credited till now. Reverse my money now, please. Enough of all this nonsense,” Vitus wrote.
Access Bank has since responded to his complaint, apologising for any inconvenience caused and asking him to respond to their direct message for further assistance.
A quick search through Vitus’s X account shows that this is not the first time he has experienced transaction issues with Access Bank.
On February 28, he shared a screenshot of a N20,000 transaction originating from First Bank that was not credited to his Access Bank account. He called on the CBN and EFCC to caution the bank over their alleged fraudulent activities.
“I don’t know why @myaccessbank and @accessbank_help want to eat this money and many more aren’t to my account from different customers at my shop sincere last week…. @officialEFCC @cenbank Caution this fraudulent activity please.”
On March 2, he shared the same screenshot, indicating that the matter was still not resolved.
