Master Abdulkareem Mustapha Jeje, the outgoing Head Boy of Anur Nursery and Primary School, Bariga, Lagos, has won the One-Day Headmaster (HM) crown for the 2023/2024 academic year.
TOP MEDIA reports that Jeje’s latest feat came after performing excellently in intra and inter-school competitions, particularly the Unity Quiz contest where he and the Anur team emerged champion.
Keshinro Fuad was named the One-Day Assistant Headmaster; Orebayo Juwayriyah as One-Day Bursar; Shakiru Abdurahaman as One-Day Head of Department (HOD) 1; and Afolabi Abdulqudus as One-Day HOD II.
The Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) led by Babatunde Abdulfatai Jooda, the Chairman, who was present to celebrate the pupils, advised them to use the occasion to prepare themselves for a greater opportunity in the future.
In the same vein, the Headmistress of the outstanding learning institute, Mrs K. O Akintude, was delighted and wished the students the best as she handed over the office assignments to Master Jeje.
The occasion witnessed a series of activities, with Jeje presenting an address as One-Day HM.
The young scholar shared useful advice with his colleagues in Basic 6, Basic 5, Basic 4, Basic 3, Basic 2, and Basic 1 classes, down to the Nursery categories.
Master Jeje equally shared some tips with the teaching and non-teaching staff before moving to the historical MIMS Comprehensive College (MCC), Shomolu, to visit the Principal of the most outstanding Muslim College in Bariga and Shomolu axes.
Mrs. Isu-Mamudu Fatimah welcomed and took the pupils around the College and allowed them to see their seniors from Anur Nursery and Primary School who are presently doing great in MIMS.
Thereafter, they visited the Anur Board Chairman’s Office to extend their greetings to Prince AbdulMujeeb Adesegun Ogungbayi who welcomed them and had breakfast with them. Prince Ogungbayi equally presented them with gifts after the address of the One-Day HM, Master Jeje.
The board Chairman told them that if they didn’t relent, they would be celebrated at the secondary school level and universities and be crowned as world-class scholars in the near future.
Prince Ogungbayi told the young students that they must work hard to become a PhD. holder before age 26 and a Professor at age 30. The Director of Academics, Mr. L. S. Taiwo and the Head of Admin and Finance, Mr. Tijani Saheed charged them to sustain the winning momentum.
