Prince Ogungbayi Announces “Glorious Exit” Of Balogun Kayode Ashiwaju-Dada

Ashiwaju-Dada Traditional Council, Ashiwaju-Dada Council of Chiefs and the people of Ashiwaju-Dada Kingdom, Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA,  Lagos, were shocked on the morning of Monday, March 25, 2024, when the news of the exit of High Chief Kayode Ashiwaju-Dada, the Balogun of Ashiwaju-Dada Kingdom was made known.

Prince Adesegun Ogungbayi, the Secretary of Ashiwaju-Dada Traditional, announced High Chief Kayode’s passing via a statement sent to TOP MEDIA.

The Baale of Ashiwaju-Dada Kingdom, Baale Kehinde Hassan Akerele Ashiwaju-Dada, in his condolences, said, “Am I dreaming? I can’t imagine that the Balogun that has promised to lead other Chiefs of my kingdom to make Ashiwaju-Dada Town environs a city to reckon with within the 5 years of our rein can leave the world without actualizing any of his golden dreams with us.”

Balogun Kayode Ashiwaju-Dada was a mechanical engineer of great repute. He was a business administrator and CEO  of Honeywell Voltren Limited,  President, Vintage Cars Nigeria, and President of Able Men Society of Nigeria. Balogun Kayode Ashiwaju-Dada was an astute collector of vintage and classic cars within his reach.

The late Balogun was also the past Vice Chairman of New London CDA, Secretary of Security Committee of Baruwa Central Working Committee (CWC), Lagos, amongst others

The High Chief of Ashiwaju-Dada Kingdom founded Able Men Society and member Aviary Club of Nigeria.

Baale Akerele Ashiwaju-Dada said:

“Balogun Kayode Ashiwaju-Dada came, saw, conquered and swept the world under his feet and will be remembered for his foresight for Ashiwaju-Dada Traditional Descendant Family and Ashiwaju-Dada Kingdom people.”
