Tope AbdurRazaq Balogun, the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Lagos State, on Thursday promised artisans, traders, business owners, and students, among others, a N500,000 grant to support their respective mission.
Balogun’s promise was contained in a statement sent to TOP MEDIA.
The governorship election in Lagos holds on Saturday.
His full statement reads: “None of them (other governorship candidates in Lagos State) will promise you this 500k grant opportunity because they won’t want you to directly benefit from such opportunity in government, but rather they share cash with their godfathers, relatives and cronies.
“We will also create 450 thousand jobs for all and sundry.
“One million youths with innovative ideas will also be supported to make their ideas thrive in the local and global space.
“You will get empowered if AA Governorship candidate, Tope AbdurRazaq Balogun is massively voted into power on Saturday, March 18.
“I am a common man like you and wish to help. I understand where the shoe pinches the most. Support one of you to get your benefits [that] they are not giving you.
“We are winning to provide comfort and the hallmark of governance to all and sundry.”
