Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), says the agency is aware of the case involving a Superintendent of Police (SP), Nkiruka Nwode, who is reportedly part of a killer squad that often kidnaps and murders wealthy people in Anambra State.
TOP MEDIA reports that Nwode is the Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) Zone 13, Ukpo, Anambra State.
A blog had via Instagram on Thursday revealed that Nwode is “a random souvenir amongst politicians” who “controls Anambra State with her Puna”. Puna is a slang which means a woman’s private part.
The blog accused SP Nwode of violations of work ethics, including getting married to a junior police Inspector, Harrison Akama. According to the report, Akama is the hitman of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Patrick Agbazue “who is responsible for most of the extra-judicial killings in Anambra State”.
Furthermore, it alleged that the embattled female police officer had in the past, “warm the beds” of oil magnate, Arthur Eze; and Willie Obiano, the immediate past governor of Anambra State.
Reacting, Adejobi disclosed that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba has “personally stepped into the case”.
He wrote on his known Twitter handle on Thursday night: “The Force Headquarters is aware of this case. We are looking into it with all the seriousness it deserves.
“The IGP personally has stepped into the case, and we hope to speak, officially, to the matter. Please be calm while we take necessary action. Thanks.”
