Coalition Of Progressives Drum Support For Kogi APC Candidate, Usman Ahmed Ododo

It was a lively engagement that turned out to be a sensitisation in various communities across Kogi State as the political group, Coalition of Progressives (COP), visited various traditional rulers and their communities calling for their prayers and supports for Usman Ahmed Ododo, the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming November election.

TOP MEDIA reports that the Convener of the group, Engr Muritala Salau Audu, the Aare Atunluse Omoluwabi Oodua Worldwide, and a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) kickstarted a sensitisation tour, to interface with critical stakeholders across Kogi State. The first point of call was Kogi Central Senatorial District where he led the group to visit traditional rulers, Civil Society groups and other Community Development associations to drum support for Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo’s gubernatorial aspiration.

The group visited various dignitaries in Kogi state and recounted the projects, programmes and achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello. While the convener and other group members were at Okengwe, His Royal Higness, Alhaji Ahmed Tijani Muhammad Anaje, the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi prayed for the group and the success of Ododo in the forthcoming elections.

It was the same pleasantry and experience that was exhibited by other traditional rulers; Ohi of Okene, Ohi of Ihima, Ohi of Ajaokuta, Adogu of Eganyi, Obobanyi of Ihima, Ogusube of Ezure and Otaro of Akeka in Ogori-Magongo LGA.

The group continued her visitation to the family house of the Governor of Kogi State in Agassa and was received by the elder brother of the governor, Alhaji Muhammed Bello, who prayed for the group and urged members to continue the good work it has started.

The group also visited the family house of Kogi State APC guber candidate in Upogoro districts of Okene LGA.
