“Gbadebo Rhodes In Very Difficult Position With Takes On IPOB” – Ogundamisi

Kayode Ogundamisi, a political commentator, has asked the campaign council of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State to “disavow” some of the “worrying takes” of the governorship hopeful on the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

TOP MEDIA reports that Rhodes-Vivour has been termed an IPOB apologist by critics after old tweets of his pro-Biafra stances were dug up.

His social media posts have also fueled insinuations that he is part of a sinister Igbo agenda in Lagos as ethnic rivalry rises in Lagos in the 2023 election.

“I have read a lot of his past takes on IPOB/BIAFRA on social media. I think his campaign needs to clarify, disavow some of this [sic] worrying positions. He’s in a very difficult position but this [sic] are genuine and worrying takes,” Ogundamisi wrote on his verified Twitter on Tuesday.
