“PDP Protest Was Proper Burial Of Party” – Festus Keyamo

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment who is a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said the protest by leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja, “was actually a funeral procession”.

TOP MEDIA reports that Keyamo also taunted the opposition party for failing to zone its presidency to the South, thereby ‘burying the party’.

“The adorning of black dresses by the PDP leaders in their protest to INEC office did the right thing because the event was actually a funeral procession; the undertakers of PDP who refused to adhere to the principle of zoning took the corpse to the gates of INEC for proper burial,” Keyamo wrote on his verified Twitter handle.

This news medium reports that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP, and supporters stormed the INEC headquarters in protest.

The disgruntled PDP members wore black clothes in protest against the just-concluded presidential election that saw the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu, declared winner of the February 25 presidential poll.
