As the 2023 election gathers steam, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has aimed a jibe at Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
TOP MEDIA reports that addressing the crowd on Tuesday at the Alex Ekwueme Square, Anambra State, venue of his rally, Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, criticised the PDP and its presidential flag-bearer, Atiku.
The erstwhile APC National Leader said the former vice-president cannot be trusted, reiterating that the former Vice-President would ‘privatise Nigeria’s economy into his pocket’.
“Don’t mind PDP and their lies of 16 years. They can’t provide electricity to roast corn. They keep on lying. They say privatisation, privatisation into Atiku’s pocket. We must end that.
“PDP does not know the way. They don’t know how to think,” Tinubu said.
