Lagos Muslims Endorse AA’s Tope Abdurrazaq Balogun For Governor

Tope AbdurRazaq Balogun, the Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Lagos State has been endorsed by the Centre for Islamic Enlightenment, Lagos, and other Muslims in the state.

TOP MEDIA reports that the Centre for Islamic Enlightenment said it decided to pitch its tent with Balogun and his running mate, Mrs. Salako Oluwatosin Mautin, after a “deep assessment”.

A statement by the organization sent to this platform reads: “Mr. AbdurRazaq Tope Balogun of Action Alliance has been identified as the best among others to give the right entitlements to each individual as a compassionate leader who cares for Islam.

“May Allah grant him victory in the upcoming governorship election, Amen.”

The gubernatorial hopeful’s endorsement was ratified recently at the Oranmiyan Hall, Lagos Airport Hotel.

The 2023 Lagos State governorship election is slated for Saturday, March 11. Many other states in Nigeria will also hold their gubernatorial poll as well as state house of assembly election that day.
