The Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu and the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Aloy Ejimakor, weekend said the forthcoming 2023 election in Nigeria is “already shows signs of being dubious”.
TOP MEDIA reports that writing on his known Twitter handle on Saturday, Ejimakor also bemoaned the continued detention of his client by Nigerian authorities, adding that the Biafra campaign is “a righteous agitation”.
He stated that Kanu’s plight and the Biafra struggle are more important to separatists than any election.
“Innocent souls have died, civil liberties laid waste and Africa’s foremost prisoner of conscience remains detained amidst a righteous agitation that has captured the hearts of legions.
“To many, these issues are greater than any election that already shows signs of being dubious,” Ejimakor wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
