2023: ‘Sanwo-Olu’s Govt Has Lost Touch With Reality Of Lagosians’ Plight’ – Gov. Candidate, Tope Balogun

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Tope AbdurRazaq Balogun, the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Lagos State, says the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has “really lost touch with the reality of the common men’s plight”.

TOP MEDIA reports that reacting to a report on the phenomenon of gridlock, hoodlums, traffic robbery and potholes in the state, Balogun said Governor Sanwo-Olu has under-performed when measured with the resources at his disposal.

“This report is the true state of Lagos State as at the moment and a proof that this government really lost touch with the reality of our plights as common men.

“I am not mincing words when I said he is undoubtedly “window dressing” his vague achievements when juxtaposed with the resources at his disposal.

“Comfort of citizens is the hallmark of any responsible and responsive government,” Balogun said in a statement on Sunday.

Balogun is a former Secretary of the Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in Lagos State.
