Popular Nigerian undercover journalist, Fisayo Soyombo, on Wednesday, October 4, said President Bola Tinubu attended the Chicago State University (CSU).
TOP MEDIA reports that Soyombo said details of the president’s studentship would tell Nigerians more about “his dark side”.
The journalist listed the alleged negatives to include:
“A: Tinubu forged the certificate in his possession
“B. He lied about his age.
“C. He lied in the documents he presented for admission
“D. He has clearly committed perjury.”
Furthermore, Soyombo said what is amusing to him is “the desperation to rewrite (i) as false when (ii) A-D are actually serious offences enough”.
The media entrepreneur stated that “the real conversations should be about perjury and forgery”.
He said:
“It’s too straightforward a conversation: if Tinubu wasn’t their student, CSU would have told us so — exactly the same way the University of Toronto did about Salisu Buhari in 1999. As usual, I expect caustic comments from LP supporters who have a problem with (i) and APC supporters who do with (ii).”
